When I was a kid, one of the coolest novelties of memory was the slap bracelet fad. Just thinking about trading slap bracelets with my friends brings a smile to my face. Welcome back to the 80s, or maybe it was the early 90s, my brain is mush lately…! Some styles from those cloudy years that our children are drawn too are seriously killing me, but others make me giggle and wish I would have keep the similar items I had back in the day to pass on down to my kids. I was lucky when the slap bracelets trend took off the first time because my aunt and uncle sold toys at flea markets as a hobby. I seem to remember getting the hook up on some slap bracelets from their magical van of goodies.

Im tired of silly bands for so many more reasons than the fact that theyre always in my washing machine, so I was super excited to see the return of the slap bracelets of the 80s with SLAPlets.
